P.T.A. ? Annual General Meeting
Please see attached agenda for the P.T.A. Annual General Meeting on 15th October, 7.30pm at school. Everyone is welcome to come along and cheese and wine will be served.
Uniform & P.E.Kit
Please could parents ensure that all their childs/childrens clothing is clearly named, this includes P.E.Kit.
Family Service
The Family Service will be on Sunday 19th October. Children who would like to read or sing please inform Mrs.Bray.
P.T.A. Treasure Hunt
If you were unable to take part in the Treasure Hunt on the day but would like to do it anyway we have copies of the clues in the school office for £3.
Winter Plants
Thank you to everyone who has sent in compost, bulbs etc. We still have some empty planters around the school; if you would like to donate compost, bulbs, winter pansies, primroses or anything else suitable we would be very grateful.
Operation Christmas Child
Please remember our Christmas Shoe Box Appeal for children. If you need any more leaflets for relatives, friends, neighbours please let us know.
Youth Club
We have been asked to pass on the message that there is No Youth Club this Friday ? further information will follow as received.
Nursery Quiz
The Valley Nursery has a fund raising General Knowledge Quiz sheet out at £1 ? available from Nursery or the school office. Get your thinking caps on ? there is a prize of a £10 book token for the person with the most correct answers.
School Link Books
We will be sending in the order for the book leaflet sent home a few weeks ago at the end of next week ? if you would like to order any books please send it in to the office as soon as possible.
Tennis
The last tennis session is next Wednesday, October 15th.
Book Fair
The School Book Fair will be coming to us on 4th 5th 8th & 9th of December. We are having the large book trolleys this time.
There will be lots of excellent books ? ideal for Christmas presents!
Parent Governor Elections
Please remember to return your voting slips for the Parent Governor election. The closing date is Tuesday 14th October.
