Swimming Goggles
Following the receipt of a reminder from the Local Education Authority about the Health & Safety advice with regard to the wearing of swimming goggles during swimming lessons, the school will be following the attached guidelines. This means that children will not be allowed to wear goggles during swimming lessons unless they suffer excessively from the effects of water chemicals. If your child is given permission to wear goggles they must not be made out of glass or breakable plastics. This is not a decision the school has made; it is a local education authority Health and safety decision. Please see the attached safety advice note.
