Burlescombe Primary School




Friday 16th January
A big ?Thank you? to everyone for your co-operation last Friday lunch time. All children were safely collected from school and the damage was put right over the weekend ready for school to open again on Monday morning.

Help with Transport
We would appreciate help with transporting small groups of years 3 and 4 children to either Culmstock or Uplowman on the following dates:
3/2/04, 5/2/04, 10/2/04 and 12/2/04. The children will leave school ant 9.15am and will be ready to come back again at 12 noon. Drivers must have fully comprehensive insurance and cars must be fitted with seat belts. Any parents who can help with any of these dates please see Sue.

Basketball
There are still 3 places available for the Basketball Club for children in Oak Class.

Sensible Shoes
Please support the school?s uniform policy. School Uniform requires proper school shoes not trainers, high-heeled boots or shoes and school sweatshirts or fleeces.

Cardigans / Sweatshirts
We have now received the delivery of sweatshirts and cardigans we have been waiting for since the beginning of term.

Family Fun Evening
Looking for something exciting to do next Friday evening? Then why not come along to our Family Fun Evening, it?s from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and entry costs £3 per family. There will be an exciting circuit of games and challenges to test the knowledge and senses of all ages. There will also be a raffle, refreshments and prizes for the winners.
We would be very grateful to receive donations of raffle prizes during next week and donations of cakes and biscuits on Friday 30th January.
