Headteacher Awards
Well done to the following children who have all received a Headteacher Award: - Jake Morcom, Adam Dummett, Jessica Stoneman, Kate Kemp, Emily Sorenson, Charlotte Brown, Jacob Baker, Adam Shore, Leon Marke, Tom Bodger, Liam Vile, Josh England, Jessica Scott, Kirsty Vile, Kelly Kemp, Bryan Condick, Amelia Burston, Alisha Day, Rachel Disney, Kirsty Norton, Charlie Berry and Dan Bodger.
Year 5 ? Uffculme School Visit
Year 5 children visiting Uffculme School on Thursday June 8th will need to take with them £1.50, and a pen and pencil.
We still need more cars to help transport them; we leave school at 9.15am and leave Uffculme School at 11.0am.
Westleigh School Bus
Sue has spoken to Cooks Coaches who have apologised about the late arrival of the bus in the mornings; they are introducing a new route system that should overcome the problem. If the bus continues to arrive late please telephone Anne in the office.
We would appreciate it if parents of children who use the bus could complete the attached slip and return it to school. Concern was raised that a large number of children seem to be running off without adults on arrival at Westleigh, we would just like to clarify which children go home on their own and which need to wait for an adult.
Car Treasure Hunt
The winners of the Car Treasure Hunt last Sunday was a two family team, the Dyer Smiths (please call in to the office to collect your prize); well done to everyone who took part and completed the course.
Sweatshirts
We still have 3 of our original grey fleeces for sale in the office ? these are now available at the bargain price of £8 each. (1 x 3-5 years & 2 x 6-8 years).
Family Service
Family Service will be held at St.Mary?s Church, Burlescombe this Sunday, 21st May at 10.0am ? everyone welcome.

The Valley Nursery School
We can now give you more details of our 10th Anniversary Celebrations on SATURDAY, JULY 22nd.
The school hall, toilets, Nursery and grounds will be open on that day from 4pm to 8.30pm.
The programme will be as follows: -

5.0pm ? Barbecue
5.30pm ? Entertainer suitable for all ages.
