Goodbye
We are all very sorry to say goodbye today to Mrs.Wyatt; we would like to thank her for all her hard work and commitment to the school during the 6 years she has been with us. Mrs.Wyatt and her family are all emigrating to live in Nova Scotia in Canada; we all give them our best wishes on this big adventure.
Many Hands Make Light Work!
We are looking for help with some indoor/outdoor painting during the summer term. If anyone could spare a couple of hours of an evening after school it would be very much appreciated; dates to be arranged.

Year 5 ? Uffculme School Visit
Year 5 children visiting Uffculme School on Thursday June 8th will need to take with them £1.50, and a pen and pencil.
We still need more cars to help transport them; we leave school at 9.15am and leave Uffculme School at 11.0am.

We now have money envelopes available
for you to purchase at 8 for 50p (copy below)
these are an excellent way of getting money
to school safely with clear indication of
what the money is for.

When we return after the half term holiday we will be on WEEK 2 of the menu.
Wanted Child Minder & Field
Mrs.Karen Smith of Canal Side, Burlescombe, is looking for a registered child minder on Mondays and Tuesdays and a field to either buy or rent, big enough for 3 horses/ponies, she would consider a field share.

The Valley Nursery School
We can now give you more details of our 10th Anniversary Celebrations on SATURDAY, JULY 22nd.
The school hall, toilets, Nursery and grounds will be open on that day from 4pm to 8.30pm.
The programme will be as follows: -
4.0pm ? join us for fun and activities
5.0pm ? Barbecue
5.30pm ? Entertainer suitable for all ages.
All these times are approximate.
Everyone is most welcome to drop in for a short or long time during the afternoon or evening.
