SUN HATS
ALL CHILDREN MUST HAVE SUN HATS IN SCHOOL ALL NEXT WEEK.

REMINDER - Peer Mediation meeting
This meeting will be held on Wednesday 6th September at 7.30pm.
Please see attached letter for details and slip.

Leavers Assembly
The Leavers Assembly will be held on Tuesday, 25th July at 9.0am in St.Mary?s Church, Burlescombe.
Please take your children straight to the church ? everyone welcome to stay and join in the service and see the presentations.
Children who travel to school by bus will be taken up to the church where a member of staff will meet them.

Sports Day
Tuesday 25th July at 1.45pm on Bray Close Field.
Mums, dads, friends and relations are all welcome to come along and cheer loudly!
There will be a raffle and refreshments will be served afterwards at school.
Donations of raffle prizes would be very much appreciated.
PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CHILD HAS A SUN HAT AND SUN CREAM.
If the weather is still very hot we will have to cancel.

Sports Day Helpers
Any parents who can help with the following please see Sue
Race Starter, 6 helpers at the finishing line, 4 helpers for refreshments afterwards.

Class Challenge
Well done to everyone who took part in the ?Class Challenge?. It was encouraging to see so many children walking and cycling to school; Acorns were the winners again.

School Profile
The School Profile for the academic year 2004/2005 has now been published. This profile replaces The Governors Annual Report for each school. The Profile is available online for parents to view. To access it go to www.parentscentre.gov.uk - select school profile and type in the school name. Any parent who does not have access to the internet can arrange to come into school to read it. There is also a paper copy attached to the Parents Notice Board outside the office.

Oak Class Projects
Mrs.Bray would like to say thank you to all the parents who supported their children in the research and work on their projects.
The standard of projects this term has been very high. If you would like to come and look at them, they will be available on Tuesday, after sports, in the hall.

School Dinners
Next week is WEEK 1 in the menu.
Please remember that in September the price of a school dinner goes up to £1.65 per child per day.

Last Day of Term
Summer term finishes at 3.30pm on Wednesday 26th July.
Please remember to take home all P.E. kit, lunch boxes, water bottles, sweatshirts, fleeces, etc: anything left lying around school will be put in the lost property box.
At the beginning of the Autumn Term please ensure that your child?s P.E. Kit fits and daps are the correct size. Back to top
